Core Values
1. The Holy Scripture
We value the Bible as God's written revelation to man, and thus the sixty
six books of the Bible given to us by the Holy Spirit constitute the plenary
(inspired equally in all parts) Word of God (1 Corinthians 2:7-14; 2 Peter
1:20-21;1Thessalonians 2:13; 1Corinthians 2:13; 2Timothy 3:16;
Matthew 5:18; 24:35; John 10:35; 16:12-13; 17:17; 1 Corinthians 2:13; 2Timothy 3:15-17; Hebrews 4:12; 2Peter 1:20-21;2 Peter 1:20 21; Matthew 5:18; 2Timothy 3:16; John 7:17; 16:12-15; 1 Corinthians 2:7-15; 1John 2:20).
2. Diverse in the body but united in Christ.
We hail from various denominations, cultures, ethnic traditions, and praise and worship experiences united by a single vision. (1 Corinthians 12; Romans 12; Ephesians 4)
3. Relational and Accountable to God and each other.
We value, honor, and love God our Father and we value, respect, honor, and love each other. (Matthew 22:37-40; Mark 12:29-31)
4. Convergence
We acknowledge, appreciate, embrace, celebrate, and operate in the Sacramental, the Evangelical, And the Charismatic streams, availing ourselves to the sovereignty of the Holy Spirit of God in His expression in the local body. To this we add a service component. (1 Corinthians1:11-13; John 17:21; Ecclesiastes 4:12; 1 Corinthians 12:4-7; Psalm 46:4)
5. Family as a Kingdom Priority.
We value family as the first and primary institution established by God as the foundation of the society of mankind. (Genesis 1:27)
6. Justice and Racial Reconciliation
We value every human being as an unique expression of the image of God and therefore obligate each of us to equitable, fair and just treatment of one another to the glory of God. (Genesis 1:26)
